If you
are a player
who has
no
(zero) previous
professional
baseball experience
(independent, affiliated, or international) and want to begin your
playing career in the independent baseball leagues then you are welcome
to submit your information to us. We, in turn, will send your
information to the general managers, managers, directors of player
operations, and other executives in independent baseball.
Here is what you get:
- You will be sent e-mails with independent
baseball tryout announcements from every independent professional minor
league baseball team (as they are announced). Note that some
teams do not have tryouts or let the league run their tryouts for them
- You will be sent e-mails with information
for professional baseball developmental teams and leagues
- You will be sent e-mails with information
about
independent baseball tryout "showcases" or "expos." These
events
sometimes include scouts for international teams
- You will be sent information about fall
and winter developmental opportunities
- You will be sent e-mails with notices
about
tryout makeup dates, especially if a particular try out was canceled or
postponed due to rain
- You will be forced to include the minimum
information sought by general managers, field managers, and league
presidents/commissioners. This information will be sent to
independent (and development) league/team executives roughly once a
month. They, in turn, can contact you about other tryouts,
and unannounced
private workouts
- Your information will be sent to teams
and
leagues DURING the season. This keeps your name in front of
the
decision makers who wish to replace roster spots due to injuries,
releases, or those players who were signed to "affiliated" team
contracts
Yes, if you are playing (or just finished playing) in college and do
not expect to be drafted or signed by an affiliated team, you are
welcome to join the database.
HOW MUCH
DOES THIS COST?
I have been a bullpen catcher and backup catcher in the low
levels of
the independent leagues, and I know that budget is a concern for many
of
you! Still, I need to cover my costs of the website and the
mailing list software.
So instead of charging you hundreds of dollars to be put on a list, all
I ask is that you sign up for a trial offer through your choice of
advertiser when you click the "Get It Free" button. I get
compensated through the advertiser... and you don't have to
pay me a penny. Of course, if you don't like the trial offer
you
are welcome to cancel according to the terms of your sign-up, and you
get to stay on the database regardless.
If you prefer, you instead may pay to be on the list through PayPal.
It will be a one-time charge of $6.95, and you will remain on
the
list for up to 12 months. Should you ever want to be removed
from
the list then let us know and you will be removed quickly.
Regardless of which method you choose to sign up, you will receive an
e-mail with the link where you can submit your information.
You
also will receive a future e-mail with links to upcoming independent
baseball tryouts.
If you want to keep your credit card in your wallet and learn how to
join for free, check out the video about TrialPay. Once you
are satisfied that it is a good option for you (no charge from this
site to join the database) then click the button
directly below the video:
Or you
may join up through PayPal:
